Do you know the principles and precautions for disassembling and assembling truck gearboxes?
Many maintenance technicians will encounter problems such as misaligned gears and misaligned forks. After installation, the main and auxiliary gearboxes are only a few millimeters apart, but they cannot be installed tightly together. After screwing in the screws, they find that there are still parts on the ground... and many other problems. Don't worry. It will save a lot of effort to look at the principles of disassembling and assembling truck gearboxes before you start~
Principles of disassembling and assembling truck gearboxes:
1. Choose a clean place before disassembling;
2. Disassemble the parts and place them lightly on softer materials;
3. Arrange the parts in the order of disassembly for easy assembly;
3. If you find that the parts are difficult to disassemble during the disassembly process, especially between two sub-assemblies, you must first check whether the relevant parts are disassembled or change the disassembly method. Don't hold the mentality of not giving up until you can't disassemble them;
4. During the disassembly process, the machined surface of the parts must not be damaged;
5. Follow the principle of starting from the outside to the inside, starting from the easy and then the difficult. If you want to disassemble the gearbox assembly, disassemble the gearbox peripheral parts first. Improper disassembly or storage of parts will cause the head of the spindle ball head bolt to break.
Precautions for disassembling truck gearbox:
1. Disassembly of oil pump assembly, remove the six M10 bolts connecting the oil pump and the front housing, first separate the oil pump from the front housing by a certain distance, gently turn the input shaft with your left hand to drive the secondary shaft to rotate, grab the oil pump with your right hand and force it outward to remove the oil pump. When the steel ball installed on the end of the left secondary shaft is aligned with the notch on the oil pump housing, the oil pump can be removed.
2. Disassembly of the auxiliary box assembly When disassembling the auxiliary box, the fixing nut at the rear end of the main shaft should be removed first
3. Disassembly of the gearbox middle housing, remove the transmission filter end cover connecting bolts, remove the filter end cover and filter assembly to prevent the filter from scratching the gear when lifting the middle housing; remove the main and auxiliary box interlocking mechanism; take out the two idler shafts, and move the idler away from the main shaft reverse gear and the secondary shaft; use the front housing top screw hole to separate the middle housing from the front housing; take out the transmission middle housing (the secondary shaft bearing does not need to be removed).
