Audi is recalling 144,000 cars
According to foreign media reports, the us national highway traffic safety administration (NHTSA) announced that Volkswagen group americas announced the recall of 144,092 audi cars in the us to repair the fault of the front passenger side airbag sensor. The recall, which was issued on July 24, mainly covers 2018 audi S5 and A5 models, as well as some 2017-2018 A4 models. The recall documents said that the oxidation of the cables in the front passenger seat detection system could cause the software to fail to detect seated passengers and disable airbags.
